In moments of stress (such as a fire) it can be hard to recall fire extinguisher locations, instructions and even names, therefore highlighting these key items with safety signs provide viewers with the ability to quickly locate fire fighting supplies and personnel even when in under pressure.
All fire extinguishers should be signed with the appropriate fire extinguisher sign (which states which fires it can / cannot be used on) plus a fire extinguisher ID sign positioned at a height of 1.7m - 2.2m to help viewers locate and identify fire extinguisher locations even if it is obscured by furnishings in the room.
